Schrier Sets Fundraising Record in Washington State with over $3.8 Million Raised in Q3

Schrier has raised over $5.3 million since launching her campaign in August 2017.

Issaquah, WA, October 15, 2018—Today’s FEC report shows Dr. Kim Schrier has made Washington state history, with more raised in a single quarter than any House candidate ever in Washington state. Dr. Schrier’s Q3 results put her among top congressional fundraisers nationwide, and bring her total raised this cycle above $5.3 million.

Dr. Schrier’s impressive fundraising results echo enthusiasm and activity on the ground. Last weekend, over 800 volunteers joined the Schrier campaign across WA-08 to knock on doors, make phone calls, and set the stage for a strong get out the vote program beginning later this week.

“I am blown away by the excitement and support from tens of thousands of individuals who are putting their faith and vote behind a community pediatrician,” said Dr. Kim Schrier. “Congress is broken, and we deserve a representative who will stand up for families in our district, lower healthcare costs, and be a champion for women’s rights. Today’s fundraising numbers prove our message is catching on, and that we have the momentum on our side to flip the 8th and elect a Democrat to represent our district for the first time ever.”

FEC filings released today show Schrier’s campaign raised $3,732,141 for the July 19 to September 30 reporting period, bringing her third quarter fundraising total to $3,803,919. The Schrier campaign has made critical investments in voter communication and outreach, including expanding field operations in every county in WA-08.
